Synopsis: Suburban family man Nick Hume (Kevin Bacon) is on his way back from a hockey game with his son Brendan when tragedy strikes. Stopping at a gas station, Nick can only watch helplessly as a street thug kills Brendan during a robbery. Sensing the justice system will fail him, Nick goes after the killer himself, setting off a violent war between Nick and the killer's older brother (Garrett Hedlund) .
